With an anthropology background, the founder of Ibolili has a keen interest in foreign people and cultures. During extensive travels in Asia, relationships developed with the artisans who produce the unique handcrafted products characteristic of the Ibolili Collection.

Located in remote and primitive regions, the craftspeople have learned to work with the natural fibers found in their environment. Ibolili and the craftspeople collaborate to create eco-friendly decorative accessories utilizing the natural materials and talents of the natives. Many of our designs are unique to the artisans while others are designed by Ibolili.

Our business has afforded us the opportunity to continue to travel and develop lifelong friendships with many Asian families. Ibolili means "dream come true". This is our dream come true.
